Jesus you are the only One who can heal.
You are the only One who can mend the broken hearts.
You are the only One who can change the hearts of men, women and children.
We pray Jesus for your intervention in our city.
We need you to transform the hearts, minds and souls of those who trafficked
the most vulnerable in our society - children.
Those little ones who have abusive parents,
the orphans, the fatherless, those physically and psychologically abused,
and even those who are sold by their parents.
We pray not just for the restoration of the victims,
but also for the transformation of the perpetrators.
The heartless, lawless individuals who are willing to
rape, sell and exploit Your little ones for a profit.
We ask that You will change their hearts.
Replace their hearts of stone for hearts of flesh.
Take the lives of these perpetrators from the strongholds of the enemy's influence,
so they can be freed from their sin, and sin no more.
Jesus, we beg you to help us.
We need your aid;
We need your strength.
Please come and rescue our children,
rescue our women and men.
Rain your grace and peace on our city, and our world!

God of creation who promised to bring light to the nations
Jesus the Word of God who broke the power of death
Holy Spirit who is the presence of that promised salvation
With your strong arm set the captives free
By the force of your righteousness show yourself faithful
To those in captivity
To the children enslaved
To the men and women in bond
In the depth of your love release the ones who enslave from their bondage to death
May your Kingdom come in this dirt here and now
God our Father make this a city of refuge
A place of safety and consolation
Guide your people to bind up the brokenhearted
Empower us to truly proclaim as one:

Redemption Prayer #1
Father God, we come before your throne of grace with confidence knowing that you not only deeply desire our requests, but you also want our constricted hearts.
We stand in awe of your power and glory and we ask on behalf of the children, women and men who are victims of Modern-Day Slavery to rescue them.
We, your children, ask for their freedom, restoration and salvation. We claim the blood of Jesus and the power of Resurrection to break the chains of oppression, lust, lies, physical, emotional and psychological abuse that trap these victims in our city, in our country and in every corner of the world.
We also ask that your Spirit of unity will be present in those of us whom you have called to fight on behalf of the hurting in this city of San Diego. Fill us with your power through your Holy Spirit. Fill us with broken hearts so we will be moved and fight your battle. Grant us the wisdom to know what you have called us to do on behalf of these victims. Open the windows of heaven and pour down your Holy Spirit and every resource needed to do your work.
We are confident that You, the Sovereign God, will create a change in our city. We want to see transformed lives; we want to see the freedom that you offer in the lives of these victims. We want to see your Kingdom in our midst. Please Jesus hear our prayers.
